What Fish Don't Want You to Know is a labour of love; a distillation of 40-some years spent exploring all sorts of water with a fishing rod in my hand.

From the first handwritten word to the finished product took about three years. I wanted to do two things: inform and entertain and I think I succeeded. My loopy humour was left intact. My occasionally-unconventional theories were challenged but not overridden. I've been heartened by the feedback from anglers new to the sport as well as those who know more than I do.
